Bluebell Service

The annual Bluebell Service in Swithland Woods will be back again.

After the service, participants are encouraged to visit St Leonard’s Church where there will be refreshements available at our Open Church event.

The first Bluebell Service was held in Swithland woods on 20th May 1928 and has continued annually ever since.

We are often asked where exactly in the woods the Bluebell service takes place.
