Church Wives Gift Service

This morning we celebrate Advent Sunday with our Church Wives’ gift service. Shoe boxes filled with gifts for homeless young people in Leicestershire will be received in our service and later taken to the Y-Centre in Leicester for those in need.

In our service today, we share in Holy Communion (bread and wine) remembering the Last Supper when Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples asking that they continue to do this in remembrance of him.

After the service, tea/coffee will be served giving the opportunity for further fellowship.
